The Vegan Night Market Returns This Week and Will Run Weekly!
The popular vegan soul food restaurant Unsoul Food (1801 S. 4th St.) is bringing back the Vegan Night Market April 1st from 5-8 pm. Owners Byron and Natasha Dockett had previously ran the vegan night market which features vegan food from various vendors in the area before COVID hit. Now the Docketts are bringing back the Vegan Night Market for the Philly vegan foodies.
The April 1st kick-off will feature a vegan buffet created by Unsoul Food with a prefixed set price of $25 per person featuring the famous Ms. Tootsies tea made famous by the late Keven Parker. The market will continue weekly every Thursday featuring various vendors.
“We Started the night market Oct of 2019 and had postpone them during Covid in March of 2020. It will now return for the first time in April and will run every Thursday from 5-9pm right at our restaurant. We started it to be able to make money on a weekly basis as a new business, and decided to make it an event to give other new businesses an opportunity to make money and promote their brand! Visitors can expect a 100% vegan shopping experience covering food, beverages, clothes, beauty products, etc.” Bryon states.
Vegan Night Market is currently accepting applications for vendors looking to participate. Anyone interested can send an email to Phillyvegannightmarket@gmail.
