The Shops at Liberty Place is Hosting a 90’s Theme Yoga Party!
The Shops at Liberty Place, Center City’s premier indoor shopping destination, is partnering with Daybreaker, the international early-morning wellness and dance community, for an over-the-top ‘90s themed yoga session and dance party on Sunday, September 22 from 9 am to 12 pm.
Participants are invited to “zig-a-zig-ah” and get down like ‘90s kids for a sunrise recess in the Rotunda, the center atrium in The Shops at Liberty Place. Yogis and dancers can travel back in time during this three-hour workout that pays homage to ‘90s infused
everything. The morning will kick-off with an hour-long yoga class accompanied by live piano music from Philadelphia-based pianist Logan Roth, known for his dynamic playing style and unique compositions.
The yoga class is BYO mat and water bottle. Following the yoga session, the energy will be dialed up for a two-hour dance party featuring
‘90s throwback jams and several pop-up surprises, including an epic drumline feature from the teen drumline group MadBeatzPhilly. The experience will close out with a sound meditation led by local Sound Artist Luna Maye, who is also the producer of Philly Daybreakers.
Daybreaker is a global community of taste makers and millennials who actively seek new experiences and wake up each day with energy and intention. Based around sobriety, their events promote wellness, community, and good clean fun.
Participants have the option of partaking in the entire three hours or skipping the first hour of yoga and only attending the dance party. The event is a sober, family-friendly dance party and children under 12 are free.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the Daybreaker website . Interested participants can use the promo code “SHOPSATLIBERTY.” Tickets for the entire three-hour event are $35 and tickets for just the dance party are $20.
