The Schulykill Banks Just Released Their Line Up of Movies Featuring Screenings Along the River Every Thursday Night
Outdoor movies by the river is definitely a great summer vibe. Starting this June movie lovers will be able to catch some great flicks along the Schuylkill with the return of the Schuylkill Banks Movie Series. The summer 24′ season kicks-off on Thursday, June 13th and will feature a line-up of 10 eclectic movies being screened every Thursday at either of two locations, (25th & Walnut Street or Grays Ferry Crescent).
All movies are free and guests are encouraged to BYO (chair, blanket, food & drinks) making it a perfect date or family night out. Movies will start at sunset, which is 8:15-8:30pm depending on the month, see showings below:
June 13th: King Kong (1933)-25th & Walnut Street
June 20th: Keanu- Grays Ferry Crescent
June 27th: Tom Hanks’ Big-25th & Walnut Street
July 11th: Little Miss Sunshine-25th & Walnut Street
July 18th: Mulan- Grays Ferry Crescent
July 25th: 50 First Dates-25th & Walnut Street
August 1st: Akeelah and the Bee- Grays Ferry Crescent
August 8th: Dave-25th & Walnut Street
August 15th: Wonka-Grays Ferry Crescent
August 22nd: Barbie-25th & Walnut Street
