The Rodin Museum Beer Garden is Returning Featuring Beer, Wine, Craft Cocktails and Tasty Small Plates
It’s beer garden season and one of Philly’s best low key beer gardens is making a return. The Rodin Museum Garden Bar (2151 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy.) is back for summer 2022 by popular demand. The seasonal pop-up will serve beer, wine, craft cocktails and tasty small plates in the scenic garden. Enjoy a proper aperitif, and then cool off inside with works of art by the master sculptor Auguste Rodin. Admission to the Garden Bar is free; admission to Rodin Museum is Pay What You Wish. Leashed four-legged friends are welcome in the garden.
New for 2022 will be menu items by Constellation Culinary Group, including Whipped Ricotta, Tofu Bahn Mi, Chilled Citrus Marinated Shrimp, a Mezze Platter, Plantain Chips, and Curry House Pickles.
The Rodin Garden Bar will be open weather permitting. For evenings when the outdoor pop-up will not open due to rain, guests will be invited to the Friday Lounge at the Philadelphia Museum of Art main building. The Lounge will feature live music, locally sourced wines, and tasty small plates. Galleries will be open to explore from 5:00 – 8:45pm. Admission during these hours is also Pay What You Wish.
The Rodin Museum, located along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, contains one of the largest collections of sculptor Auguste Rodin’s works outside of Paris. The garden outside the museum showcases eight major works, including “The Thinker” and “The Gates of Hell.”
The Rodin Museum Garden Bar will be open every Friday 4pm–8:30pm from 5/13 to 9/30, weather-permitting.
