The Philadelphia Zoo is Hosting Boo at the Zoo, an Overnight Halloween Experience for Kids!
With all of the top haunted houses, hayrides and tours going on this Halloween, sometimes we forget that this holiday is really about the kids. The candy, the scary stories and of course the cool costumes. For those with little ones or looking to take your nieces, nephews or siblings out for some Halloween fun, there are a few great options out there but one that really caught our eye was the overnight experience at the Philadelphia Zoo. The “Boo at the Zoo” will run the last two weekends of the month, the Philadelphia will host families overnight and offer the following fun activities:
- Trick-or-treating at their safari
- Walk through Philadelphia Zoo’s not-so-scary Extinction Graveyard to learn about the extinction of species around the world. You’ll be shocked to see that some of your favorite creatures could be extinct in the wild in 15 years!
- Enjoy festive fall offerings available for purchase throughout the Zoo: hot apple cider, reusable Boo at the Zoo trick-or-treat bags and much more!
- Run wild through our hay bale maze on Impala Lawn.
- and More!
Boo at the Zoo will be held Oct. 21, 22, 28, 29 & 30..Guests who book an overnight experience on these dates have the added bonus of early entrance to Boo at the Zoo! Overnighters can beat the crowds and access premium parking with an arrival the night before! Also featured at Boo at the Zoo overnights are spooky crafts and activities, designed to the children about extinct species.
