The Philadelphia Union & the Association of Mexican Business Owners are Hosting a Soccer Festival in South Philly
With the conclusion of Copa America and the Euros, soccer fans have been in pure bliss. However, the party doesn’t stop because the Philadelphia Union has partnered with the Association of Mexican Business Owners of Philadelphia to host “La Fiesta Futbolera” on Sunday July 21st from 12 pm to 6 pm
This special day celebrating was created to have a day of family entertainment and to connect the South Philly community with cultural diversity and sports through games, food, and soccer. The event will take place in the heart of 9th Street in South Philadelphia between Federal Street and Washington Avenue.
Guests will get to enjoy a day filled with soccer culture, food, vendors, bounce castle for the kids, and community spirit. In addition you’ll also have the opportunity to meet some Philadelphia Union soccer players, dance to live Banda Sinaloense music, a DJ, win raffles, and much more.
With a name like La Fiesta Futbolera you already know there will be plenty of soccer games and activations. When you build up an appetite after playing, there will be plenty of food vendors on hand including some of Philly’s top Mexican restaurants to refuel.
