The Philadelphia Film Center is Screening Horror Films Including Halloween and a Hocus Pocus Movie & Trivia Night
Okay film buffs, if you’re looking to check out some horror films on the big screen now’s your chance. This month the Philadelphia Film Center (1412 Chestnut St.) will be screening a few cult classics. For those that are a little squeamish, PFC will also be hosting a throwback Hocus Pocus night that will include quizzo.
The festivities kick off on October 7th with the fan favorite Halloween (1978) at 9:30 pm. The hair raising shows continues with the following movies:
- October 14th Fright Night (1985) at 9:30 pm
- October 14th Witches (1990) 12 pm
- October 15th Frankenstein (1931) at 5 pm
- October 15th Dracula (1931) at 7:30 pm.
For those looking for a more light hearted Halloween experience PFC will be hosting a throwback Hocus Pocus (1993) movie screening and quizzo night on October 14th at 7 pm. So form your squad and put your film and pop culture knowledge to the test at PFS’ monthly Quizzo & Movie.
During the film, we will tally up the scores and reveal the winning team as the credits roll. The first-place team and runners-up will win prizes and bragging rights.
