The PFS Young Friends of the Philadelphia Film Society are Kicking-Off a Special Movie Series Starting With Selena
If you’re a film buff looking to socialize with likeminded film lovers, you’ll he happy to know that the Young Friends of the Philadelphia Film Society just launched their Young Friends Film Club which will feature a series of movies from various genres.
The film club will kick-off their new film series on Thursday April 25th at 7:30 pm with a special screening of Selena as they look to celebrate the ‘Queen of Tejano music’ during her birthday month in the Greenfield Theater at The Film Center (located on the 2nd floor of the Philadelphia Film Center 1412 Chestnut St.).
Prior to the screening the Young Friends Film Club will host a pre-movie mixer at 6:30pm with snacks provided by Taco Heart and a specialty cocktail by Union Forge Vodka. Members and non-members alike are welcome to join. Tickets are $14 for non-members and can be purchased at filmadelphia.org/events/selena/
As for the PFS Young Friends Film Club, look for the monthly series to offer a wide mix of movies from a variety of genres from biopics and rom coms to gory horror classics.
