The Oval Returns for Another Summer Season With Mini Golf, a Beer Garden, Live Music, Movies, and More

The Oval (located at Eakins Oval) right across from the Philadelphia Museum of Art is once again kicking-off a summer season but this year it will have some new features and activities.

The Oval will officially re-open on Thursday July 11th and will run until August 25th. This year The Oval will feature a beer garden, food trucks, markets, movies and more.

One of the new activities this year is the addition of mini golf courtesy of Libertee Grounds. Mini golf will cost $5 per adult and is free for kids. In addition, this year The Oval will also feature live music and entertainment from musicians to dancers, all curated by Philly’s own SNACKTIME. Performances Include:

July 13th |  Ivy Sole | 8-10 pm
July 20th |  Victoria Victoria | 8-10 pm
July 27th | Love Club | 8-10 pm
August 3rd |Josh Lee and the Extended Family | 8-1o pm
August 10th | TAMEARTZ – Hip Hop in the park | 12 pm -10 pm
August 10th | Sibby Liv and Guests | 8-10 pm
August 17th | Olivia K and The Parkers | 8-10 pm
August 24th | SNACKTIME | 8-10 pm

Looking for some shopping? Well, Now + Then Marketplace will be setting up shop on Saturday August 24th. However, ongoing activities include Community Yoga on Thursdays 6-7 pm, Sunday Quizzo 5-7 pm, and movie nights every Friday night. See list of movies below:
