The Mann Center is Screening Classic Movies With Live Orchestras All Summer Long!
It looks like The Mann Center has found a way to make some classic movies even better! All summer long The Mann Center will be screening some of Hollywood’s biggest hits but with a twist. Each movie will be scored by an orchestra. That’s right, each movie has been stripped from their respective scores and will be played over by local orchestras including The Philadelphia Orchestra.
The Mann Center which recently went under an $11 million renovation has even added huge screens to ensure that every seat is the best seat in the house, even if it’s on the lawn. Tickets range from $25-$65 and each movie will begin at 8 pm and will have live music from orchestras playing some of Hollywood’s most iconic soundtracks.
