The Good King Tavern is Hosting a Block Party to Celebrate Bastille Day
The Good King Tavern (614 S 7th St.) announced they are bringing back their popular Bastille Day Block Party on Saturday, July 16 from 12pm – 8pm with live music, face painting, a cornhole tournament, house wines, original canned cocktails and a French street food menu. Seating is available both outside and in the restaurant. An additional smaller menu will be available for indoor walk-in dining only which includes steak frites, mussels and cheese and charcuterie selections.
The celebratory cocktail of the day will be “Marseille, Afternoon” – an original cocktail inspired by leisurely sipping in the South of France, made with Ricard (pastis), pistachio orgeat, lime, and sparkling wine. It will be canned for easy outdoor drinking.
