The Girls.Like.nicethings Showcase Features an All-Women Line Up to Celebrate Women in Music
For the past nine years, Philadelphia Music Ambassador Chill Moody has been putting the spotlight on Philly’s most talented women in music and creative spaces. Co-founded by fellow entrepreneur Elle Tee, Girls.Like.nicethings is platform for woman musicians and creatives to express their talents. This year Girls.Like.nice.things will take place on June 23rd from 4 pm to 9 pm at the East Market Plaza (1100 Market St.).
“Ell Tee and I created the Girls.Like.nicethings platform nine years ago in the midst of our efforts to “create things we wish existed”. A platform geared solely to spotlighting talented women in all art/creative fields. We’ve been partnering with Wawa Welcome America on this event for the past three years,” Chill explains.
Slated to perform are DJ Laced Up, Carla Gamble, Essence Natay, Queen Jo, and 100.3 RnB and Hip Hop’s DJ Killsing. “Philly is filled with talented women who are, visual artist, musicians, culinary artists, you name it we got it. So whatever chance we get, we want to shine light on that,” Chill adds. Aside from live music, the event will also feature vendors, food trucks as well as a preview of Chill Moody’s new wine.
