The Franklin Institute is Launching “2nd Thursdays” Featuring Extended Hours With Cocktails & Activities

Ever wish the local museums had longer hours during the week? Well, The Franklin Institute is looking to fill that void with their newest event, 2nd Thursdays.

Launching on June 13th, 2nd Thursdays will take place 5:30 pm – 9 pm and will feature activities such as dance lessons, blind folded Lego challenges, as well as the ability to explore the entire museum including rooftop access in an after hours setting.

The event is 18+ but the 21 and older crowd can unwind with a cocktail in Science Park and let your inner child roam free in our outdoor playground. 

“It’s a social happy hour. We’re excited to offer this event for adults who still want to experience a lot of the programs and shows we offer during the day, but in the evening,” event organizers stated.

Upcoming dates include July 11th and August 8th. Tickets to 2nd Thursdays are $25 per person and available at fi.edu/en/events-calendar
