The Betsy Ross House is Mixing Cocktails and History For Their Upcoming “Tipsy History” Event
Do you and your significant other love history and story telling? Well if you’re looking for an unique experience this Valentine’s Day, the Betsy Ross House (239 Arch St.)is back with their popular Tipsy History Event on February 10th & 11th at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, & 7:30 pm.
Guests will be able to listen to a colonial love stories for the ages while enjoying a handcrafted “love potion” cocktail. Hear about Betsy’s elopement with her husband, John, and hear some of the turmoils that came with Betsy marrying outside of her Quaker community. Then, head into the House for a special love-themed tour.
Tours are timed to space groups out and run about 75 minutes long. Tickets are $25 per person, include one cocktail, and must be purchased in advance and are available here.
