The All-New Libertee Grounds Will Feature Indoor Mini Golf, Local Beers and Pan-Asian Food!
As the city prepares to resume indoor dining January 16th we’ve found a perfect new spot to check out. The all-new Libertee Grounds in Francisville will open its door and feature a one-of-a-kind bar and dining experience. Located at 1600 W. Girard Avenue inside of The Civic Apartments, Libertee Grounds will encompass two floors and feature a mini-golf, local beers and Pan-Asian food.
The scheduled opening is Thursday, January 14th for takeout and delivery only at this time. Their first floor bar will feature 32 craft beers, ciders, stouts, wines and seltzers all made within 40 miles of Philly to keep things hyper-local. According to PhillyEater co-owner Pri Rambhia stated, “You won’t see any big box brands on tap here,” For those looking to grab their drinks, the to-go cocktails will also feature locally owned companies such as Boardroom Gin and Three Bitches Vodka.
As for the grub, the Pan-Asian menu will pay homage to the owners ethnic background as well as their upbringing in America. Take for instance Libertee Ground’s twist on the classic cheesesteak which features a masala-rubbed lamb and ribeye blend topped with American cheese, grilled onion and cilantro lime aioli on a long roll. “To take it a step further, we decided to make the menu Pan-Asian to provide a variety of Asian flavors baked into our menu items,” Pri Rambhia told Philly Eater.
Other eye catching menu items includes their Chickpea Sloppy Joe with coconut cured chickpea, eggplant, spinach, onion, watercress on a brioche bun and their Kung Pao Hot Chicken sandwich with Kung Pao infused hot & crispy chicken, ginger, sesame slaw, pickles, Kung Pao Tony sauce on a potato bun.
