The 40th Annual Hispanic Festival Takes Place In July With Over 70 Vendors and Live Music From Oro Solido
The Hispanic Festival Festival is back for its 40th year and this year’s festival looks to be bigger than ever. This two-day festival which draws upward of 40,000 people will take place at Penn’s Landing July 9th and 10th from 2-8 pm.
“Concilio’s Hispanic Fiesta highlights Latino culture and serves as a way to connect with people in a positive and vibrant way through music, dance, arts and family,” states Concilio Executive Director Adonis Banegas.
The Hispanic Festival will be headlined by merengue group Oro Solido on Saturday and salsa singer Charlie Aponte on Sunday, so there will be plenty of hips swinging this weekend.
Aside from the live acts the festival will also feature over 70 vendors, a beer garden, a kids zone, health screenings, arts/crafts vendors selling items, food vendors with traditional Latino food and other resources/information from community partners.
The Hispanic Festival which is organized by Concilio, is part of PECO’s Multicultural Series that takes place all summer to celebrate various cultures. See the rest of the summer line-up below:
