Tambayan is Hosting Their First Ever Fiesta Pig Roast and a Portion of the Proceeds Will Benefit Haiti
When it comes to her life’s work and business, Tambayan’s Kathy Mirano is always looking for ways to give back. Looking to close out AAPI Month of a positive note, Tambayan (located inside the Reading Terminal Market) will be hosting their first ever Fiesta Pig Roast on Sunday May 26th from 11 am to 5 pm.
Guests will be able to enjoy lehon (roast pig) along with other popular Filipino food. The best part is that 5% of all proceeds will be donated to Work, a non-profit who’s mission “is to accompany families in Haiti out of poverty through good, dignified jobs.” Their services includes access to education, healthcare, and job training for families in Menelas, Haiti.
