SWEAT Fitness & City Tap House are Teaming-up to Offer Free Outdoor Summer Pop-up Series!
SWEAT Fitness, Philadelphia’s premier fitness club with eight convenient locations throughout the region, and City Tap House (University City), Philadelphia’s renowned craft beer restaurant are partnering up to bring Philadelphians a FREE outdoor summer fitness pop-up series – SWEAT + SIP. The classes will be offered 10am-11am every Sunday (starting June 19th) through August 28th on City Tap House’s expansive outdoor patio. And the best part? Participants will be rewarded for their sweat sessions with a complimentary brunch beverage.
“We are in that time of year when everyone is thinking about their beach body,” said Tracy Shannon, SWEAT Fitness President. “This is a wonderful way to keep working hard through the summer months – but outdoors with friends and brunch!”
City Tap House’s brunch begins every Sunday at 11am and will boast their signature brunch cocktail — The Bloody Tasty 1.5 oz of Titos Vodka poured over ice topped with the vibrant green elixir made from green tomatoes, lemon juice, salt, wasabi, baby kale, honey, and green Tabasco, ($7). This dirty-detox will be served alongside brunch favorites such as their renowned Chicken & Waffles – fried chicken, buttermilk waffle, honey-thyme butter, molasses syrup, and red pepper jam ($19) and the Tap House Omelet with sautéed leeks, roasted mushrooms, guanciale, and taleggio ($13). The Avocado & Grapefruit Salad with young arugula, avocado, grapefruit, feta, sweet almonds, and ruby-red honey vinaigrette ($12) is the perfect post-workout summer dish!
The class schedule will boast a wide variety of classes – from outdoor Barre and outdoor Cycling to SWEATX – a recently launched dynamic, small group-training program designed to take athletic training to the next level. Along with a DJ each week spinning the sweat worthy tunes!
SWEAT Fitness offers more than 225 group fitness classes each week from Yoga, Barre, Cycling, and more! They are taught by Philadelphia’s best instructors including industry vet, Donna Storm who has been working in fitness for 35 years!
