Stratus Rooftop’s Circus-Inspired Soirée “Spring Awakening” is Back Ft. SNACKTIME, DJ Hollywood, Cocktails & More
Spring has sprung and to celebrate, Stratus Rooftop Lounge, which is located on the 11th floor of the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Old City, is hosting its 13th year of the wildly successful Spring Awakening, with this year’s installment titled “Cirque du Stratus”, on Friday, April 26 from 5:30 – 8:30pm for VIP party and select open bar, followed by 8:30pm – 2am for General Admission.
This highly-theatrical circus-inspired soirée boasts live music from SNACKTIME and as well as DJ Hollywood spinning vinyl, cocktails and elevated hors d’oeuvres inspired by traditional carnival and circus mainstays, aerialists, magicians, stilt walkers, caricaturists, contortionist, and more.
Spring Awakening marks the return of Stratus Rooftop Lounge’s official kick off to the spring and summer season as well as the newly launched seasonal cocktail menu courtesy of Beverage Manager Patrick Banko. In addition look for tasty fare curated by Stratus Rooftop Lounge and sister restaurant Red Owl Tavern.
For one-night-only, attendees can expect this visually stimulating and over-the-top transformation of the adjacent indoor pavilions Mist and Vapor as well as the main bar and outdoor lounge to riff on over-the-top cirque themes. In addition to themed décor, guests can expect spirited sippers (think: cotton candy garnished cocktails, liquid nitrogen-infused sippers, boozy ice cream and snow cones, etc.), and a bevy of light bites inspired by popular foods found at carnivals and cirque du soleil such as wagyu corn dogs, funnel cake, savory churros, and more.

Tickets for VIP cocktail hour (5:30 – 8:30pm), which includes complimentary fare, access to all entertainment, select open bar, and wine and beer tastings are priced at $100 per person.
