Skate Legend and Clothing Entrepreneur Jimmy Gorecki Created an Exclusive Collection With the Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles and Jimmy Gorecki, the founder of JSP and co-founder of Standard Issue Tees, have come together to celebrate the return of Kelly Green with an exclusive streetwear collection inspired by the team’s classic threads. The lifestyle clothing line, which releases today, features the Eagles’ signature logos and wordmarks on JSP’s iconic sweatsuits, t-shirts, and hats.
The JSP x Philadelphia Eagles collection will be available exclusively at the Eagles Pro Shop, the JSP online store, and at Fanatics. Prices range from $40-$130.
The collection calls attention to the different shades of green that represent fans across every era of Eagles football. Utilizing the JSP Standard Issue heavy duty sweatsuits and tees, the collaboration taps into the team’s Kelly Green and Midnight Green aesthetics for its apparel essentials.
High-quality fabrics blend streetwear and sports style to create a classic, timeless look that speaks to the collaboration’s importance. In addition to the Kelly Green and Midnight Green sweatsuits, the signature line also includes fitted New Era hats with the JSP and Eagles logo lock-up, and t-shirts with the iconic phrase “RENT IS DUE EVERY DAY” on the back, made famous by Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
“I’ve shed tears three separate times in my life for the Eagles,” said Gorecki. “Advancing to the Super Bowl in 2004, winning it all in 2017, and the day when my dream of merging the worlds of JSP and the Eagles became a reality. From that day forward, I dug deep and committed myself to designing a special collection that Eagles fans of all ages could rock with. It was my late, great grandfather who instilled in me a love for this franchise. With this collection, I hope fans will see the passion I have for this team through my artistic vision and creativity.”
Gorecki, a native of Norristown, PA, has a lot of tricks up his Standard Issue and JSP sleeves. Most of which were learned on 15th & JFK skateboarding in Philadelphia’s historic Love Park. The Temple University graduate and former professional skateboarder, who also was a member of Pharrell Williams’ iconic Ice Cream Skate Team, continues to turn heads with his sense of Philly fashion.
In 2013, Gorecki took his aesthetic a step further and launched his own line of sweatpants in Los Angeles, calling the fashion label JSP (an acronym for Jimmy Sweatpants). The brand styles are inspired by the fashion he grew up on in the City of Philadelphia. JSP and Gorecki’s hyper local collaborations have been endorsed by the likes of Jay-Z, LeBron James, Jalen Hurts, Bryce Harper, Meek Mill, Jadakiss, Wiz Khalifa, Tyrese Maxey, Chris Paul, and the late, great Virgil Abloh.
“It’s inspiring to see this celebration of our past and our present come to life through this collaboration,” said Jen Kavanagh, Senior Vice President of Media and Marketing, Philadelphia Eagles. “Jimmy’s talent and passion for the Eagles are authentically woven into each item in the collection, and we’re excited to share it with our fans.”
