Scoop DeVille is Offering One Fan to Tat Their Logo on Them to Win Free Ice Cream Once-a-Week For Life
Scoop DeVille, a Philadelphia home-grown ice cream institution since 1989, will open its third store offering unique custom
blends and customer-created flavors at 538 South Street, in the Philadelphia Headhouse District, on November 12. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Scoop DeVille’s other locations include Walnut Street in Midtown Village and in The Bourse, as well as a University City express delivery service.
Prizes and surprises will be featured at the Grand Opening following the official ribbon-cutting ceremony by South Street Headhouse District Coordinator Dana Feinberg and Scoop DeVille owner Spencer Philips. Scoop DeVille’s famous custom blends will be available at a sharply discounted price and patrons will win a free gift by spinning a game wheel. Prizes include Flyers tickets, a try at a cash and prize-yielding “Money Machine”, Federal Donuts and Tattooed Mom gift cards, tee shirts, and a variety of Scoop DeVille ice creams and cakes.
To welcome Scoop DeVille to the popular South Street tourist area, retail neighbors Federal Donuts and Tattooed Mom bar and restaurant have donated prizes in a show of community support.
Scoop DeVille is also celebrating the South Street opening with a pre-promotion on Instagram through noon on November 12. By following the ice cream store’s page, liking and sharing the post while commenting on a favored Philadelphia landmark one person will be randomly selected to receive an actual Scoop DeVille logo tattoo inked by famous local artist Michael DiGiacomo from Tat215ive. That Scoop DeVille logo tattoo will entitle the wearer to free ice cream once a week for a lifetime.
The promotion can also be entered in person at the South Street Scoop DeVille from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., November 12, 2021. In announcing the planned store opening promotions, Scoop DeVille owner Spencer Philips said, “We’re excited to expand our Philadelphia footprint and bring our custom creations to more mouths and earn more smiles all around!”
