Roxborough’s Roxtoberfest is Back With Plenty of Food, Beer, Family Entertainment and Trick-or-Treating

If you’re looking for an outdoor festival that has it all this October, then you might want to head up to Roxborough on October 23rd for their annual Roxtoberfest.  After taking a year off during the pandemic, Ridge Avenue will once again be bustling with over 20 local vendors, food trucks, and of course plenty of brews to celebrate the occasion.

Roxtoberfest is always a kid friendly and pet friendly event. This year’s festival will feature face painting, balloon twisting, circus performers, as well as tick-or-treating at participating businesses so be sure to bring the kiddos in full costume.  For your four legged family members a commemorative pet and people photo booth will be available to capture the moment, courtesy of Roxborough Development Corporation.

Last but not least, the entertainment will be plentiful as several local bands will be performing live.  New Ridge Brewing Company will also be on-hand pouring out their best brews at a pop-up beer garden along Ridge Avenue.  The festivities will take place on Ridge Avenue between Leverington Avenue and Martin Street and will kick-off at 1 pm lasting until 6 pm, so be sure to clear your calendar for this one.
