Roxborough is Hosting a Spring Festival & Car Show With 100+ Cars, Live Music and 50+ Vendors

Spring time is here, and it means it’s festival season.  The latest festival news comes out of Roxborough and it looks to be a big one.  If you love food, music and cars then this festival is definitely for you.  On Saturday May 7th from 12-5 pm, Roxborough will be hosting Spring Fest along Ridge Avenue between Lyceum Avenue and Fountain Street.. The Roxborough Development Corporation is partnering with the Roxborough Ridge Runners to produce this event which will feature classic cars, live entertainment, as well as plenty of food trucks and vendors.

HIGHLIGHTS:
4 Performance Areas with Live Music Featuring a Variety of Musical Styles
• Acoustic Ferrari – Pop & Rock hits from the 50’s to now
• Cheddar Boys – Country Folk
• Maggie’s Boots – Irish music
• Music with Gina- Original kid’s songs
• Skip & Chickie – New rock, blues & country
• Two Ripped Jeans – Alternative Rock
• And more…

Roxborough Ridge Runner’s Classic Cars:

• “Rockin the Ridge Car Show” will be located at Gorgas Park from
Hermitage to Fountain Street
• Over 100 classic, customs, and hot rods
• Proceeds from the car show will support Gorgas Park

Kid’s Activities:

• Flyleaf the Book Fairy welcomes kids with stories
• Music with Gina performs interactive original kid’s songs
• Performances by Jeannette’s School of Dance

Food Trucks/Beverages:

• Savory: A Taste of Philly, Calle del Sabor, and Tabachoy
• Sweet: Partners Creating Community and The Chilly Banana
• Adult beverages: New Ridge Brewing Company & more…

Vendors:

• Over 50 artist/crafters and non-profit organization participants
