Please Touch Museum is Reopening in April and is Offering Free Admission for Their Grand Reopening!
Last August we reported the closure of the popular family destination Please Touch Museum. At one point the museum cut its staff down to 75% and was operating with a skeleton crew of only 18 employees before they decided to shut down operations. Now the Please Touch Museum is poised to reopen its doors on April 22nd. Although the scheduled reopening is slated for the end of April, members will be able to access the museum starting April 8th.
In a recent statement posted to their website the museum states, “We have consulted with experts; invested in hospital-grade disinfecting methodologies; followed federal, state, and local guidelines; and reimagined our exhibit experiences to provide a welcoming, clean, and low-touch Museum experience for all. Please learn about our updated operational procedures designed to create a safe and memorable Museum experience for the children and families we so proudly serve! We are grateful to Barbara Klock, MD, retired physician from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, who reviewed and approved our reopening plan.”
