Philadelphia Is Most Rodent and Mice Infested City in the U.S According to New Report
We’re not talking politicians when we say that rats are infesting our city. According to a new report posted by Bloomberg.com, Philadelphia tops the list of cities with the biggest rodent problem. Nearly 1 in 5 Philadelphia area households has spotted mice or rats in their home.
The study which is done by the American Housing Survey (AHS) is conducted every 2 years. Homeowners across the country conduct the online survey which asks a variety of questions including financing, rentals, as well as safety. Among the myriad of questions are those involving infestation. It looks like Philadelphia residents who responded to the AHS quiz have been experiencing an infestation of sorts. The result was an astounding 18% of Philly households reporting vermin.
Among the Philly regions that have been reporting the biggest issues with rodents is the Northeast corridor of the city. On the brighter side of things, Philly came in 13th when it came to roach issues. It looks like the city of brotherly love is ran my mice more so than creepy critters.
