SUMMARY:Letters Between Us
DESCRIPTION:Subject: A Philly founder built a sold-out letter-writing experience — without running a single ad \nHi [Name]\, \nI’m Imani B.\, founder of Stamped\, a Philadelphia-based correspondence and community with national presence built around the belief that the those who shows up for everyone rarely have someone showing up for them. \nOn Sunday\, April 26\, I’m hosting Letters Between Us\, an intimate candlelit letter-writing experience for 35 women at Baby’s Kusina + Marketplace in Brewerytown. Guests are guided through reflective prompts to write a letter to their future self or a woman who shaped them\, closing the evening with a wax-seal ritual and live flute performance. The event sold out in 48 hours without a single paid promotion or ad. \nThe evening is supported by a curated group of Philadelphia and aligned brands including Federal Donuts\, Philadelphia Candle Co.\, Wallace Dry Goods\, Olfactory NYC Philadelphia\, and others\, all woven into the experience rather than displayed as traditional sponsorship. \nBut the story isn’t really the event. It’s this: in a city that moves fast and expects us to keep up\, a sold-out room of 30 women chose to slow down\, pick up a pen\, and write something true. And the only reason they knew to come was because someone they trusted told them about it. \nI’d love to make myself available for a pre-event conversation about what Stamped is building in Philadelphia. Hoping to connect. \nWarmly\,\nImani B.\nFounder\, Stamped\nExperiential Marketing Curator | Dot Connecter\nM:  347.746.2642 | E: info@imanib.co

SUMMARY:Corio Pizza Collab: Dom's Pie
DESCRIPTION:During the month of December\, Corio will be featuring a pizza co-created by Chef David Feola and one of his longtime friends\, Chef Dominic Piperno of Hearthside in Collingswood\, New Jersey. Chefs David and Dominic have a history of cooking together over the years and have both since gone on to open standout dining destinations in the area. What better way for the pair to reunite than collaborating on a pizza pie? \nThe collab pizza (or “Dom’s Pie” as listed on Corio’s menu): Hearthside’s Fennel Sausage\, Broccoli Rabe\, Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese\, Long hots\, and a touch of Chili Oil. \nThe pizza is a riff on Hearthside’s beloved orecchiette dish that has been featured on their menu over the years. It will be available beginning Monday\, December 1 and throughout the entire month at Corio (3675 Market Street\, Philadelphia\, PA\, 19104).

SUMMARY:What’s What Productions presents 2 Women\, 2 Mothers at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival
DESCRIPTION:Philadelphia\, PA: After a successful premiere in Toronto and the Bay Area\, What’s What Productions is proud to bring 2 Women\, 2 Mothers to the 2025 Fringe Festival at the Louis Bluver Theater at the Drake\, (302 S Hicks Street\, Philadelphia) running for a limited engagement on Sept 19 at 6:30 PM and September 20 at 4:45 PM \nThese 2 back-to-back solo shows featuring Vicki Dello Joio and Merry Ross\, explore the transformative nature of mother-daughter relationships — what it means to be a daughter and a mother (and sometimes both at the same time) with a little bit of “What the f**k!?” \n“After performing their last successful and award-winning show\, 2 Women\, 2 Stories at several Fringe Festivals around the country\, Vicki and Merry are super excited to join Philadelphia Fringe with their new show\, especially because it is Merry’s home town!” What’s What Productions \nIn It’s About Time\, Vicki navigates the challenging end-of-life journey she travels with her mother\, while celebrating and exploring the complex dynamics of their relationship. As Vicki transitions from daughter to mothering her own mother\, she finds the humor and sorrow in letting go with humor and heart\, using her expertise as a brilliant physical and character actor to tell stories of their relationship and that final passage. \nTherapy Fund is a comic and poignant exploration of her relationships with both Merry’s two daughters and her mother and grandmother. With consummate skill and expertise\, Merry walks the line between stand-up comedy and self-revelatory performance to look at how inter-generational trauma can be addressed and healed\, when one is committed to doing it differently and laughing at her own mistakes and foibles along the way. \nWhat’s What Productions has recently presented this show in Toronto and the Bay Area to  full houses and standing ovations \nWhat’s What Productions presents \n2 Women\, 2 Mothers \nSeptember 19 -20\, 2025 \nLouis Bluver Theater at the Drake\, (302 S Hicks Street\, Philadelphia) \n$25 \nTickets available at https://phillyfringe.org/events/2-women-2-mothers/. \n

SUMMARY:Going Acoustic at Quig's
DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, June 23\, Going Acoustic at Quig’s marks three years of cultivating one of Philly’s most welcoming spaces for new music and emerging artists. The 3rd Anniversary Open Mic will take place at the cozy and historic Quig’s Pub\, located above Plays & Players Theatre in the heart of Center City’s Rittenhouse neighborhood.\nFounded in 2022 by artists Emily Schuman\, Kat Rivers\, and James Haro\, Going Acoustic open mic was born out of a desire to create a consistent\, supportive home for songwriters\, poets\, and storytellers to share work-in-progress and original material. Since then\, it’s become a cherished quarterly ritual for local artists and audiences alike.\nThe anniversary event on June 23 will feature a curated lineup of past and present favorites\, including Laura and the Storm\, Maria Mirenzi\, and other surprise guests. Expect acoustic sets\, collaborative moments\, and the signature speakeasy atmosphere that makes Quig’s feel like a living room jam session with Philly’s most talented voices.\n“Going Acoustic at Quigs is a perfect representation of the open mic scene in Philadelphia. Spooky old building? Check. Secret bar? check. Mood lighting? Check. Sense of overwhelming community and support from artistically-minded individuals? Absolutely. Whenever I’ve joined the Quig’s open mic\, I’ve been met with a room full of attentive creatives\, each bringing a heap of talent and each beaming with respect and positivity and encouragement. Inspiration abundant\, relaxed environment. Here’s to many more years of this community’s growth!”– featured artist\, Laura and the Storm\nFeatured Artists Include:Laura and the Storm (she/her)Laura and the Storm has been self-producing indie albums in her bedroom since 2017. She electronically layers a series of found-sounds and folk instruments to accompany her extensive songwriting discography of quirky themes and thickly layered lyricism.Maria Mirenzi (she/her)Maria Mirenzi is a Philly-based indie\, alt rock singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Maria sings you a story with hazy\, emotive vocals and an electric guitar in hand\, hoping that you can relate. Inspired by artists like Madison Cunningham\, Neko Case and Andy Shauf\, Maria captivates audiences with her narrative lyricism and rich harmonic world.\nEvent Details:Location: Quig’s Pub – 3rd Floor of Plays & Players Theatre\, 1714 Delancey Place\, PhiladelphiaDate: Monday\, June 23Time: Doors at 6:30 PM | Music begins at 7:00 PMCost: Free Entry | Donations Encouraged
