North Bowl is Hosting a Holiday Holiday Pop-up Market Featuring 50 Vendors & Activities
Northern Liberties Business Improvement District is proud to present its 2nd Annual Holiday Pop-Up Market the first two weekends in December from 11:00am to 4:00pm at North Bowl (909 N 2nd St, Philadelphia, PA). Featuring over 50 craft and handmade goods vendors, this year’s market will fill the mezzanine of North Bowl, Northern Liberties’ expansive bowling alley and date night hot spot.
To offer flexibility in shopping and avoid crowds, the market spans two weekends this year, with dates set for Saturday, December 4th, Sunday, December 5th, Saturday, December 11th and Sunday December 12th. This year’s festivities will feature new additions, like Northern Liberties branded swag and gifts, family fun, letters to Santa, ornament making, and photos with Krampus. The event is free and open to the public.
“Northern Liberties’ Holiday Pop-up Market will triple in size this year with more than fifty vendors for 2021,” says NLBID executive director Kristine Kennedy. “It brings people into the neighborhood and we encourage them to continue to shop and dine while here. It’s also a great opportunity to introduce Northern Liberties to entrepreneurs and show them that this is a great neighborhood in which to open their first brick and mortar.”
In addition to more than four dozen vendors, the NLBID will even be selling Northern Liberties branded swag such as sweatshirts, t-shirts, water bottles, ornaments, and cloth masks. Three of the market days will also feature free special activations:
12/4 – Letters to Santa. Children can write a letter to Santa which will be dropped in a mailbox with a SASE envelope for a letter back!
12/5 – Ornament making station. Arts and crafts you can hang on a tree.
12/11 – Photos with Krampus, the counterpart to Saint Nicolas in Alpine folklore. Yes, you too can sit upon this horned character’s lap and tell him what you don’t want for Christmas. Say cheese!
