New Outdoor “Now & Then Marketplace” is Opening in Port Richmond and Will Feature Food Trucks and Vendors!

A new outdoor market is opening this weekend in Port Richmond.  The Now & Then Marketplace located at 2650 Castor (across from Target and Home Depot) will transform a once vacant lot into a thriving outdoor market that will feature local foods and goods.  The Grand opening is scheduled for Saturday May 29th from 10 am – 2 pm.

Guests will be be able to also look forward to a dog park this summer as well as a pop-up beer garden. As the name implies, events will take place on the property ‘Now & Then’ with a program for June announced later this month.

The market will be ran by local event specialist Steph Irvwin, “Myself and my team have long put on local markets in Philadelphia including the Thunderbird Salvage Flea Markets. The pandemic forced us to pivot, which we took full advantage of, moving outdoors and gathering our community members to advocate neighbors to shop local and sustainable. I am looking forward to using my expertise to make this space as awesome as possible. As per city guidelines vendors will be socially distanced and unvaccinated guests must wear masks. The market is FREE & open to the public and is pet & family friendly,” states Steph.
