McGillin’s is Hosting a Toy Drive Benefiting The Ronald McDonald House, With Rare Seasonal Beers & Christmas Karaoke
Tis’ the season for giving and for the last several years Philadelphia’s oldest bar gets into the holiday spirit (and spirits) by hosting their annual McGillin’s-Tröegs – Sly Fox Toy Drive benefitting Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House Charities of Philadelphia.
On November 29th from 6-9 pm McGillin’s Olde Ale House‘s (1310 Drury St.) invites guests to stop by with unwrapped toys to be donated to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. During the event, McGillin’s will be pouring up rare seasonal beers from Tröegs Brewing & Sly Fox Beer as well as offering food specials.
“As we look forward to the upcoming holiday season, we hope you’ll help us spread Christmas cheer to families at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald Houses. McGillin’s Olde Ale House is partnering with Tröegs Brewing Company & Sly Fox Brewing Company for our annual toy drive benefiting RMHC Philly,” McGillins stated
Guests will be able to enjoy seasonal brews and blends from Tröegs & Sly Flox including Mad Elf, Blizzard of Hops, Dream Weaver, a blend of Mad Elf & Dream Weaver – “MAD DREAMS,” Sly Fox Christmas Ale, O’Reilly’s Stout & a blend of the two – “O’ CHRISTMAS TREE!”
Oh and we can’t forget, Santa himself will be paying everyone a visit for photo-ops and to spread holiday cheer. For those looking for some entertainment, Christmas Karaoke will also take place beginning at 9 pm.
