Le Bok Fin Restaurant Opens at Bok Technical High School
It’s more than just a clever play on words, it’s a culinary experience that is setting a new bar for pop-up dinners in Philly. Local developer Scout recently teamed up with catering company Fine Palate to create the soon-to-be-open Le Bok Fin restaurant at Bok Technical High School.
The pop-up restaurant will be situated on-top of the now defunct school’s 8,000 sq. ft. rooftop terrace. If you’re a true Philadelphia foodie then you will remember the former French eatery Le Bec Fin in Center City, which was for many years Philly’s top gem in the world of culinary arts. Now the new Le Bok Fin will look to serve up casual French dishes. While Le Bec Fin specialized in fancy cuisine, Scout & Palate look to create a more “approachable” dining experience.
Think of it as a more t-shirt and jeans version of Le Bec. The new Le Bok Fin will kick-off August 7th and will open every Thursday through Sunday until September 13th. Dishes such as steak tartare, charcuterie, croque monsieur an Nicoise salad will be whipped up for the pocket friendly price range of $5.50-$12.50.
This will definitely be a memorable dining experience. I mean how many times will you be able to experience fine dining at a former high school along with great views? Check out the exact hours below:
