La Placita Fest Returns for Its 3rd Annual Celebration With a Live Performance by Frankie Negrón, Food, and More
The event is a family-friendly cultural festival centered on Latin heritage, with programming focused on music, dance, food and community. According to organizers, the festival was created to bring the music, culture and atmosphere of Puerto Rico to the Philadelphia waterfront.
This year’s festival will include a live performance by Frankie Negrón y Su Orquesta and a meet-and-greet with content creator @iamWordlife, described by organizers as a two-time Latin Influencer of the Year.
Live DJ sets are scheduled throughout the event from DJ Redz, DJ V Spice, DJ Slick Rick, DJ Xio, DJ Kiko, DJ Tito, DJ Spontane and DJ Oski, along with reggaeton artist DJ Kazzanova. The event will be hosted by Mega 105.7 FM.
Estilo Dance Studio will offer free salsa lessons during the festival, along with live dance performances throughout the day. Additional programming includes authentic Latin food and drinks, as well as a lineup of cultural vendors.
