Kensington Quarters to Host Night of the Living Cider
Kensington Quarters to Host Night of the Living Cider
For a change this Halloween, how about a party with zero costume requirements, minimal high-fructose corn syrup/candy, lots of boozy ciders and a few of Philly’s best chefs in the kitchen? Here it is:
Kensington Quarters’ Tim Kweeder and Prohibition Taproom’s Amy Hartranft will host “Night of the Living Cider” at Kensington Quarters on Tuesday, October 31, with guest chefs and quite a few interesting ciders on tap and by the bottle. Amy and Tim aim to highlight the restaurant group’s (13th Street Kitchens) interest in promoting natural, terroir-driven beverages, specifically Amy’s growing natural cider list at ProTap.
The event will be pay-as-you-go, and will be from 6pm until midnight on Halloween Night (10/31).
Kensington Quarters’ Chef Damon Menapace will host his chef-friends for a fun night with great food, including:
Sam Jacboson of Stargazy
Ari Miller of Food Underground and Watkins Drinkery
Michael O’lone of Vernick
Nich Bazik of The Good King Tavern
Kyle McCormick of ITV
