Joseph’s Pizza Parlor is Hosting a Wagyu Cheesesteak Popup Dinner Featuring a Wagyu Sommelier
If you missed the sold out wagyu cheesesteak popup dinner last February, don’t fret. Joseph’s Pizza Parlor ( 7947 Oxford Ave.) is running it back. That’s right, here’s your chance to experience a cheesesteak with the finest cut of meat on earth on top of a Roman Style Schiacciata bread prepared by artisan bread maker @jiudough.
On Monday December 9th at 6:30 pm, Joseph’s Pizza Parlor will be hosting their second wagyu cheesesteak popup dinner and it will feature a lineup of menu items that will include a special Wagyu Crab Rangoons prepared by Farina Di Vita Co-Owner Jason Okdeh and food content creator Dave Wez ( @feedingtimetv).
In addition, to enjoying the wagyu, Nan Soto from The Wagyu Sommelier, will be in attendance to educated guests on the origin, cuts, and process of preparing the meats.
“I just received my Wagyu Certification from Drexel University @drexelfhm & The Wagyu Sommelier @the.wagyu.sommelier so we now have a new found appreciation of all the different ways to incorporate the Wagyu into this new menu hence all of the menu items this time around have Wagyu incorporated,” states Joseph Pizza Parlor Owner Mathew Yeck.
See full menu below:
- Wagyu Tallow Tomato Pie
- Wagyu Crab Rangoons
- Wagyu Cheesesteak served on a Roman Schiacciata bread with cooper sharp and caramelized onions & Fishtown Pickle Project’s Bloody Mary Pickles
- Wagyu Fat Brownie for dessert
Reservations to the wagyu popup dinner are $125 a person and available at OpenTable.
