Get a Little Boardwalk Action at Fox & Son Fancy Corndogs
Going down to the shore is usually on most Philadelphian’s to-do list every summer. Down there we get to work on our tans, enjoy beach bars, hotel pool parties and clubbing. But what the shore is really good for is the boardwalk action where traditional summer treats are a delicacy. However, if you’re a corn dog lover you’ll be happy to know that you don’t have to wait for the summer or head to the shore to get a tasty corn dog. That’s because the all new Fox & Son Fancy Corndog stand just opened up in the Reading Terminal Market.
Located at the former Salumeria stand, Fox & Son Fancy Corndogs (yes one word) is the brainchild of local chefs and entrepreneurs Rebecca Foxman (of Meltkraft) and Ezekial Ferguson (of DiBruno Bros.). However, don’t come here looking for your run-of-the-mill corn dogs. Yes they serve them classic but they are also serving up some fancy dogs such as cheddar jalapeño dogs, chorizo dogs, corn beef hash dogs and many more options.
They Have Options for Non-Meat Eaters Too
To make things even more interesting, Fox & Son’s is also serving up dogs that are…well not even dogs. We’re talking vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dogs as well. So anyone with a hankering for some exotic corn dogs needs to check this place out. Also on the menu are fancy dressed up baked potatoes, cheese curds and other “seasonal fair items.” Try them out and let us know what you think!
