FUEL is Opening a New Location In the Northeast and the First 100 Guests Will Receive a Complimentary Meal
FUEL Healthy Kitchen is excited to announce the grand opening of a new location in Northeast Philadelphia at 10090 Roosevelt Blvd on March 22, 2022. The new location will join existing FUEL locations in Center City, South Philly, and University City, further solidifying FUEL’s status as the go-to for convenient, healthy and nutritious meals and snacks on-the-go.
FUEL’s culinary development team worked with local farmers and bakeries to develop an exciting menu of fresh, healthy options, comprised of Salads, Rice Bowls, Sandwiches & Burgers, Smoothies, Juices and more. The menu is highly customizable, allowing a choice of wraps or buns for various sandwich options, different protein sources to top rice bowls and salads, or superfood beverage add-ins including protein, energy booster, fat burner, glutamine, and creatine. Food offerings can accommodate a variety of different diets including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, and more. Full nutritional information is put forth front and center on FUEL’s menu and website, catering to its clientele of fitness enthusiasts and health-conscious individuals.
Founded by Rocco Cima, a local Philadelphia native, FUEL’s first Philadelphia location opened in 2008 as one of the nation’s pioneers in offering fresh, healthy food in a fast casual setting. With a degree in culinary arts and a passion for fitness, Cima saw an opportunity to fill a void in Philadelphia’s culinary scene with offerings that were fresh, convenient and nourishing.
“I believe that food truly is fuel, and the best meals are ones that are just as delicious as they are nutritious,” noted Rocco Cima, Founder of FUEL. “I noticed a gap in the local market for food that fit this bill, which inspired me to open my first FUEL location. Now, with three successful locations under my belt, I’m thrilled to be able to continue to fill this gap within the Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood.”
In celebration of the grand opening, FUEL will offer a complimentary meal to the first 100 guests to arrive at the Northeast Philadelphia location on March 22nd. Furthermore, each customer to patronize FUEL on the day of grand opening will have the ability to scan a QR code to enter for a chance to win free smoothies for a year (redeemable at all FUEL locations).
FUEL’s new location will operate as a fully digital kitchen with COVID-19 safety and changing consumer preferences in mind. Orders can be placed in-store using mobile kiosks or online via FUEL’s custom app or all third-party delivery platforms, with food available for contactless pick up in-store or delivery.
