Freelance Pizza is Teaming-up With Brigantine Oyster Co. For a Foodie Pop-Up at Herman’s Coffee
Rejoice pizza lovers because award winning pizza maker Freelance Pizza is having a pop-up with one of the best oyster spots in the region, Brigantine Oyster Co. at Herman’s Coffee (1313 S 3rd St.) on Monday November 8th. The event starts at 5 pm and is scheduled to end at 7:30 or whenever they sell out, we predict the latter.
12″ white wine and scallion cream base pies will be going for $15 while Brigantine Oyster Co. will hosting a Farm Share pickup. Folks can buy oysters in orders of 12, 24, 36, 50 or 100 (prices will vary). Clams will also be sold by 25, 50, 100 per order. All pre-orders can be made on the Brigantine Oyster Website: brigantineoysterco.com/shop a few days before the popup date.
“I’ve known Todd Kostka from Brigantine Oyster Co. for years and they were nice enough to ask me to play a supporting role in their farm share. Plus Herman’s Coffee Shop is right down the street from me, so a popup there was long overdue,” states Freelance Pizza’s Dave Quaile.
“It’s going to be a great time and this will be my first time in the cart at Herman’s slinging circle pies out of a portable RoccBox oven. There is plenty of room to hang out on the block over on 3rd street, so we hope to see you come out for some oysters, clams and pizza,” Dave adds.
