Experience Franklin Institute’s New Body Odyssey Exhibit at The Upcoming Science After Hours With Entertainment, Cocktails, & More

The Franklin Institute’s newest exhibit, Body Odyssey is making headlines but now’s your chance to experience it in a fun and unique way. Body Odyssey will be the centerpiece for the upcoming Science After Hours: Heart Beats.
Taking place Friday December 7th from 7:30 pm-11:3pm, guests will be among the first to see the new exhibits and the reopening of the Giant Heart and Baldwin 60000. In addition you’ll have the opportunity to explore the museum after hours and discover the ways we connect with ourselves and one another. Embark on a multi-floor journey, from the calming to the exhilarating, and feel the building pulse with dancing, performances, and engaging encounters with local partners. Follow the Beat of our Heart and find your moment.

Tickets Include: 

  • Evening access to all core exhibits and galleries, including Body Odyssey and Hamilton Collections Gallery.
  • Access to all featured programming.  
  • A limited edition lapel pin created exclusively for this event.  
  • Roof deck access offering spectacular city views and facilitated stargazing (weather permitting).  
  • Food and drink by Seravezza Events are available for purchase at bar stations across the museum.

  • Aaron Schwartzbaum, from It’s Always Punny in Philadelphia, will be roving the museum with free puns and bingo.
  • Experience sound guided meditations led by Eunmi Chang of Lumos Yoga & Barre.
  • Meet adoptable puppies from Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
  • Learn how heart rate is the foundation of your well-being with POLAR, developers of the 1st wearable heart rate sensor.
  • Go on a musical journey through the human body with The Bearded Ladies and Chief Bioscientist, Jayatri Das.
