And who knows\, a monster may even may an appearance at the event. \nGuests can also compete in the Beach Monster Costume Contest\, where guests are encouraged to come dressed in their interpretation of their vision of a Beach Monster (or their victim) \nThere will also be themed beverages and snacks for guests to enjoy throughout the night\, including non-alcoholic options \nBands include Kiss Boom Bah\, Beach Cheetah\, Drastic Plastic\, Civil Rats\, and the Headliner The Phantom A.D. On May 16\, for the first time since 1981\, punk icon Dez Cadena will perform a full Black Flag set!!!\nHe’ll be doing all the classics that you live\, backed by a killer all-star band- Society’s Imitations… surely that band doesn’t have members of Violent Society in it… Dez will be singing and playing guitar and on some tracks\, in classic ’81 style\, just taking the mic and destroying the room with that classic tar-n-glass voice!!! Oh yes! This is a one time only thing!!!\n\nBut\, that’s not all… the newly reformed Droogettes will be bashing it up with their punk meets oi! charge and they have a bunch of new songs!\nPlus\, Noun\, which is Marissa Paternoster of Screaming Females\, Mean Nasrene\, and Ash Crash of Pinkwash will be playing their heavy as hell post-punk damage!\n\nPlus\, Philly Anarcho Hardcore smashers The Brood are going to lay waste to the show!\n\nThat’s May 16 at Philamoca in Philly (531 N. 12th street).
