DESCRIPTION:This June\, in honor of Black Music Month\, African American Museum in Philadelphia invites you to join us from 4 PM to 8 PM and experience Rhythms of Liberation from Juneteenth to Beyond! This FREE event consists of an evening with a DJ\, live entertainment\, vendors\, food\, drinks\, and more! \nSaturday\, June 15th – Jazz & Blues: Throw on your evening wear\, pull out that fringe in the back of your closet\, and grab your oxfords as we hit the plaza again to celebrate the Black experience through Jazz & Blues music. Sounds by Duiji 13 \nSaturday\, June 22nd – Afro Beats & Caribbean: It’s a vibes type of night out on the plaza as we celebrate the Black experience through Afro Beats and Caribbean music. Sounds by DJ G33k \nSaturday\, June 29th – R&B & Neo Soul: Join us on our plaza one last time as we close out our celebration of the Black experience with RnB & Neo Soul.
