This hands-on session will dive into the pattern making\, construction\, and finishing of a boutique-quality accessory. \nThis workshop is for intermediate sewists who have basic machine and pattern making confidence and are ready to dive into accessory construction and professional-grade assembly. \nParticipants will learn how to construct a slouch bag\, execute professional assembly\, and master finishing techniques including inset linings\, facings\, and hardware closures. \nParticipants will walk away with a custom\, high-fashion slouch bag and the technical expertise to replicate professional accessory designs for their own handmade wardrobe.

The Art Department and Special Collections invite you to come by the library with supplies that you no longer want or need and pick up something else in exchange. You do not need to bring materials to take something. \nJoin us at Parkway Central in the Heim Center room 131/132 from 1:00 – 3:30 PM. This event is free and open to the public. Please bring your own bag if you plan on taking things. \nPlease make sure that all items are in good\, usable condition.
