The lively and expressive work will showcase the virtuosity of two flutists in an enchanting musical dialogue.\nAlso featured on the program is String Quartet No. 2 by Alexander Borodin\, a piece that holds deep personal meaning for the composer. Dedicated to his wife\, Ekaterina Protopopova\, and written as a 20th wedding anniversary gift\, the quartet evokes the couple’s first meeting in Heidelberg.
