SUMMARY:9/11 Remembrance Tribute
DESCRIPTION:9/11 Remembrance Tribute at the 9/11 Memorial on the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT) \nJoin Aurora Classical for a remembrance tribute marking the anniversary of the World Trade Center attack on September 11\, 2001. There will be music\, a moment of silence\, and a time to share stories honoring the victims and heroes of the attacks on September 11\, 2001\, including those Philadelphians who perished in the World Trade Center on that tragic day. The tribute will begin at 8:30 am at the 9/11 Memorial on the Schuylkill River Trail\, located under Chestnut St Bridge\, enter via Locust St.\, Philadelphia\, PA 19103. \nThis event is part of the 2025 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.  Click https://phillyfringe.org/events/9-11-remembrance-at-the-srt-memorial/ for more info or to RSVP. \nAurora Classical [https://auroraclassical.org/] was founded in 2015 to create classical music without all the perceived pretense that can get in the way of its enjoyment. We believe everyone can enjoy classical music\, and we strive to give freelance musicians the opportunity to share that joy as much as possible! Our name was inspired by a newspaper publication founded by Benjamin Franklin Bache called the Philadelphia Aurora. Bache was a grandson of Benjamin Franklin\, and his paper stood for the rights of “plain folk.” Our focus is on sharing quality music with low-income communities.
