DESCRIPTION:On May 17 – 18\, the PGMC will present Live OUT Loud! Join the PGMC as we sing this concert in celebration of PRIDE\, dedicating it to the rest of our siblings in the LGBTQ+ community. PGMC is excited to open the concert with various LGBTQ-commissioned masterpieces written by notable composers\, including Robert Seeley and his late partner Robert Espindola (lyricist)\, Philip Littell (lyricist)\, New Jersey native Robert Maggio\, and Philadelphia natives Andrea Clearfield and Drag Queen Cookie Diorio. Two songs were commissioned by PGMC\, one of which will be performed by Soloist Cookie Diorio. This music celebrates the love stories of our community and reminds us to live bravely OUTloud. The celebration continues with popular selections that gear you up for PRIDE\, including “Rise Up” and “Born This Way!” We will not be erased\, we will not be denied\, and so instead\, we will LIVE OUT LOUD!

Through a series of news clips\, images\, and stories read aloud anchor style our talented and smart group of performers will use the news to inspire the scenes created right in front of you. Get caught up on the world’s events in way that will make laugh rather than cry. \nCrossroads is a nonprofit theatre company! We are offering this performance as “pay what you want” with a suggested donation of $15. Your donation helps us with our ongoing operations\, paying our performers\, as well as our student aid program\, which provides low to no cost classes. While we await our tax exempt status approval\, Crossroads is fiscally sponsored through Fractured Atlas allowing for tax deductible donations.
