Born and raised in Tokyo\, Ueyama is a former dancer with Paul Taylor Dance Company and founder of TAKE Dance. \nJamar Roberts\, known for his “mesmerizing choreography” (Dance Magazine)\, returns for a new work co-commissioned with the Vail Dance Festival and featuring the music of Philip Glass\, as performed by Brooklyn Rider. Roberts was a dancer and Resident Choreographer with Ailey and has created work for Complexions and New York City Ballet.
