SUMMARY:REEF THE LOST CAUZE & CALIPH-NOW
DESCRIPTION:REEF THE LOST CAUZE & CALIPH-NOW\nReef the Lost Cauze & Caliph-NOW have been a hip-hop duo representing Philly for a decade plus. You may know them from their many albums such as “Reef the Lost Cauze Iz Alive\,” “Feast or Famine\,” Viro the Virus Albums\, or several Army of the Pharaohs projects. Maybe you’ve seen them live or on Twitch with THE REEF & TODD SHOW\, which some say is the Best Show On Earth! Reef is the “Sound of Philadelphia.”\nOn February 9th\, they are hosting the celebration of their latest album “The Triumphant\,” a follow up to their classic album “The Majestic\,” with a full visual performance. A show not to be missed. Come out and party with us and get your hands on a limited vinyl of the New Album! Joining us with special guest performances are The Out-sect and I-Know Brasco with Bear-One. \nTHE OUT-SECT \nThe Out-Sect… Picture a fun\, five-piece garage-rock band on a hot summer month’s road trip – driving aimlessly through the middle of nowhere – whose destination leads to a stylishly choreographed bar room fight\, and adroitly ends with a destructive\, yet entertaining victory – even winning over some of the locals into joining them on their travels afterwards.\nI-KNOW BRASCO & BEAR-ONE\nI-Know Brasco & Bear-One… Born and raised in the heart of North Philadelphia\, I-Know Brasco\, also known as James Thorton III\, represents a lyrical force that refuses to be confined to the boundaries of convention\, and with Bear-One holding down the turntables\, you will not be disappointed.

SUMMARY:Ravel by Krista Dedrick-Lai - Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:A solo exhibition by Philadelphia-based artist Krista Dedrick-Lai. \nFebruary 10 – March 23\, 2024 \nRavel is an interesting word. A contranym. It can be both a noun and a verb. It can mean both tangle and untangle. And isn’t that how life can be sometimes? We find ourselves in a great big mess. And the more we try to tease the mess apart and get everything back in order\, the more jumbled it becomes. In the end there is no reweaving the unraveled tapestry\, not really. There is simply taking the threads you have at your feet and starting again.

SUMMARY:Viktor’s Valentine Haunted Candlelight Tour at Lincoln Mill
DESCRIPTION:If you’re looking for a nontraditional Valentine’s Day experience this year\, may we suggest a haunted house? Yup\, Manyaunk’s Lincoln Mill (4100 Main St.)\, one of Philly’s most popular haunted attractions is back with another installment of Viktor’s Valentine\, A Dark Story. \nFor one night only on Saturday February 10th from 6 pm -10 pm\, guests will embark on a candlelight tour  through a hidden chamber by following the hearts that will lead you to the ghost of Viktor Valentine. Be prepared to hold tight to your significant other as characters and props come to life in this spooky undying labyrinth \nWho is Viktor you ask? Well according to Lincoln Mill “The Legend of Viktor’s Valentine” is as follows\, “In the 1930s\, Viktor Kane had several accomplices that helped him carry out his evil acts. One of them loved Viktor\, but developed a deep resentment towards him. She wanted the pain to stop and so she came up with a plan to take down his operation. \nOn February 14th\, 1939\, she left a trail of hearts inside the hidden chamber. At the end of the trail\, she revealed herself; greeted Viktor with a kiss\, and then stabbed him in the heart. She then took her own life\, wanting to be free of her guilt\, her body\, and to be with Viktor forever…”
