Step Back in Time: A 1940s WW2 Era Swing Dance!
Join us at Society Hill Dance Academy, 1919 East Passyunk Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19148 on Friday, May 9th, 2025, from 8pm-11pm for a night of nostalgic swing and wartime revelry!
Dust off your vintage duds and prepare to be transported to the 1940s for an unforgettable evening featuring:
-Complimentary Swing Dance Lesson: Brush up on your Lindy Hop and Jitterbug moves with a fun and easy lesson before the live music kicks off!
-Live 1940s Jazz Band Swing: Dance the night away to the infectious rhythms of a fantastic live swing band, playing all your favorite tunes from the era.
-Cash Bar: Enjoy a selection of beverages to keep you energized on the dance floor provided by Pops McCann Whiskey, WS Imports, and local breweries
-WW2 Reenactors: Immerse yourself in the atmosphere with authentic WW2 reenactors mingling throughout the evening.
-Surprise Performances: Be prepared for special, unexpected acts that will add an extra spark to the night!
-Food Truck: Food from Joe Palumbo’s Italian Mangia Mobile will be stationed outside for snack and more!
This is an 18+ event, so grab your dance partner or come solo and make some new friends!
