EVENT DETAILS

No dogs, strollers, or wheeled vehicles
Rain or shine
Participants will be bussed back to starting point
All walks stay together with staff and volunteer leaders throughout the pack. Participants are asked to keep with the pace of their selected group. This helps us stay on track with our schedule for police-assisted road crossings and bus pickups. The average pace is approximately a 20-minute mile for the 14 & 21-mile group, and a 30-minute mile for the 3 & 8 mile walks.
Support teams available to carry extra gear and help at road crossings
The 3 & 8-mile course is mostly on a natural, unpaved trail and you will encounter stepping stone crossings and bridges along the way. The 14 & 21-mile course continues on a section of paved trail through Fort Washington State Park with the 21-mile walk finishing on the paved trail through Forbidden Drive.

Please note that this is a public event and volunteer photographers will be taking pictures throughout the day on our behalf. Many of these photos will be shared on social media or used for future promotion. Please advise staff and the photographer if you do not want your photo taken.
