Summerfest Block Party Brings 50+ Vendors, Live Entertainment and Free Family Fun to Northern Liberties

The Northern Liberties Farmers Market and Piazza Alta will host Summerfest, a free community block party, on Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Piazza Alta Courtyard.

Expected to attract more than 4,000 attendees, Summerfest will feature over 50 local vendors, food and beverage offerings, live entertainment, fitness activations, giveaways, and interactive experiences throughout the day.

Families can enjoy complimentary activities including face painting, balloon art, character appearances, and other kid-friendly entertainment. Attendees will also have the opportunity to shop local makers, artisans, food vendors, and small businesses from across the Philadelphia region.

The event will feature partnerships with local and national brands including lululemon, Bluecoat Gin, Two Robbers, Bagels & Co., and SEV, alongside a diverse lineup of community organizations and neighborhood businesses.

Hosted by the Northern Liberties Farmers Market and Piazza Alta, Summerfest celebrates local entrepreneurship, community engagement, and the vibrant culture that continues to make Northern Liberties one of Philadelphia’s most active neighborhoods.
