In a world where we are being told to hide DRAG away, we invite you to Sashay – Drag Out Loud!
Join us for an evening of food, drink, entertainment, and dancing as member of The Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus match with local Drag Celebrities to make their drag debut – performing spectacular numbers – and you as the audience will help us give special awards to our premiering queens!
We will be entertained and guided throughout the evening by our MC Philly’s own Legendary Bev! We are also pleased to announce our featured performer, the effervescent Philly native: Icon Ebony Pierce!
Audience members are encouraged to show up in whatever drag means for them – you can don the wig and heels, go for the accessories, or come with a fully painted face beat to the gods – whatever tickles your fancy darling. After the show, the our space will transform into our Wig Out! Dance Party, where you can dance the night away with the performing queens and other guests to the fresh beats of DJ Gavin.
This event is a fundraiser. Sashay supports The members of The Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus attending GALA this July in Minneapolis. GALA is an event held once every four years for the LGBTQ Choral community, and PGMC will be performing at this event.
