Rocky 50th Fan Celebration Takes Over the Rocky Steps & Mighty Mick’s Gym

On Saturday, May 30th, we’re bringing dozens of diehard fans to Philadelphia during Fan Expo weekend to celebrate Rocky’s 50th anniversary at two iconic filming locations: The Rocky Steps and Mighty Mick’s Gym.

Wearing matching Rocky gear – including the famous American flag shorts – our group of 30–50 fans will arrive at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for photos at the Rocky statue, fun moments at the steps, and possibly even a few brave souls attempting the iconic run as “Gonna Fly Now” plays.

Following the Rocky Steps moment, the group heads to Lost Time Brewing Company – the filming location of Mighty Mick’s Gym – for a Rocky-themed party featuring Rocky trivia (custom championship belt for the winner), drinks, props, prizes, and a special Dolph Lundgren video message.

A full day celebrating Rocky, Philly, and the RSVLTS fan community – a group that pours its heart and soul into pop culture and nostalgia like Rocky.
